The Pretty Perennials Bundle from Stampin’ Up! UK has got to be one of my favourite in the New Mini Catalogue. Floral sets tend to be a little irresistible, I always gravitate towards them.
Have you noticed my New Look Website? I was long overdue a makeover, and I am so pleased with the result. The lovely Catherine Carroll is totally responsible for translating my vision into action, and I couldn’t be more grateful to her. I hope you like it too and even more so, I hope you find it easy to use.
And of course I had to do a little crafting to match the new colour scheme 🙂

Pretty perennials bundle from Stampin’ Up!:
Here’s a look at the actual stamp set and matching dies in this gorgeous bundle. It was designed by one of my gorgeous demonstrator friends, Dena Rekow a perk granted to her by Stampin’Up! for reaching a million dollars in sales.
Colours used :
- Cinnamon Cider
- Petal Pink
- Mossy Meadows
The colour combo is soft and neutral. I am always looking for new colour combinations, after all its part of the fun using Stampin’Up! products. Everything coordinates so effortlessly, giving you endless possibilities for creating magic. Looking for a scheme that incorporated the new In Colour Cinnamon Cider, I discovered that pairing it with Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow seemed to work well for these projects. What do you think ? Is this a combo you could get on board with??

Guilded Leafing Flakes:
Now, let’s talk about what is really made these project sing…. the gold leaf metallic flakes. Totally obsessed with using them and I cannot wait to share some ways with you soon. I have used our multipurpose glue to create a band of gold at the side of the main card as well as a few splatters of gold across the projects, SO MUCH FUN !!! and instant WOW!!
Tell me what do you think please, I always love to hear from you, and Thank You so much for joining today.

Much love,
I love the soft colors together, they make such an impact! Question , how, exactly did you apply the glue? Did you let it dry first before applying the gold flakes? It really is a wonderful effect.
Thank you Susan, I love these colours together as well 🙂 To answer your question YES !! I applied the glue then spread it with my fingers tapping the glue gently rathe than in a straight solid line if that make sense. Then I applied the flakes. It adds so much doesn’t it?
These are beautiful! I would not have picked these colors to go together but I love it. I may CASE some of these if that is ok.
