Hello again, well the weather has turned a corner again we had a beautiful few days then down came the rain again. I suppose we need rain as well so shouldn’t moan to much.
Today’s project is one I designed for Sunday card club.
It’s a double z card and I got the idea from a fellow demo in our team Amanda Bates. I worked out the dimensions and the score lines to fit the Scallop Square die using the Simply Scored board. This was the ladies favourite card of the day.
And I am sorry I do realize I have been on a Poppy Parade kick lately. It’s easy to create more than one project once you get going.
The papers are from the Attic Boutique collection and the stamp set Reason To Smile.
Here’s a top view of the card so you can better understand what I mean
The card base is Poppy Parade and the fold out section is So Saffron. The stamp was stamped and cut out then the edges inked using Daffodil Delight and a sponge dauber. The centre was sponged as well and a Antique Brad inserted in the middle. Two Soft Suede leaves from the Bird Builder punch completed my focal panel.
Sweet card with a versatile set used in a different way.
